Conversion of a listed buliding to house the brewery Rollberger in Berlin-Neukölln.
Part of the listed Building that we have developed as an art-centre was converted, in a first phase, to house a new brewery which is run by the young brewmaster Wilko Bereit and his natural ale is delivered to many high quality establishments in Berlin.
The project was designed inside the main building of a historic brewery site in the very centre of Berlin. Underneath historical oversized copper kettles the new brewery with modern techniques and an advanced ecological system, has been build in. The side façade was opened up and the ground slightly lowered allowing for an access to a public space for serving the up the beer. This space is separated from the production area by an internal glass façade.
